Maxus T60

The Maxus T60 is a mid-size pickup truck manufactured by SAIC Motor under the Maxus brand since November 2016, and the first pickup truck from SAIC built for the global market. It debuted at the 2016 Guangzhou International Motor Show and was the first Chinese-built pickup with six airbags. The original engine is a 2.8 litre SC28R intercooled variable-geometry turbocharged four cylinder diesel built by SDEC, with a 2.0 litre SAIC-GM petrol and a 2.4 litre Mitsubishi-derived petrol added in November 2017. It is a body-on-frame truck with double wishbone front suspension and leaf springs at the rear. The first 300 were exported to Chile in 2017, and it is sold as the LDV T60 in Australia, where it was the first Chinese-built ute to score five stars from ANCAP. The upgraded T70 followed in 2019.
