Isuzu Faster

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Isuzu Faster is a compact pickup truck that Isuzu built from 1972 to 2002 across three generations, known inside Isuzu as the KB for the first two and the TF for the third. It replaced the Wasp pickup and was sold under many names through General Motors, as the Chevrolet LUV in North America, the Bedford KB in Europe and the Holden Rodeo in Australia from 1980. In Japan the Faster Rodeo was the four-wheel-drive version from 1978, and the Rodeo name eventually replaced Faster there. First-generation engines included a 1.6 litre petrol four and a 2.0 litre diesel. The Isuzu D-Max succeeded it in most markets, and the first generation also lent its platform to the early Isuzu Trooper.
