Renault Trucks D

The Renault Trucks D is a range of medium duty distribution trucks manufactured by the French truckmaker Renault Trucks. It was launched in 2013 to replace the Midlum, the Premium Distribution and the Access. The D has automatic transmission as standard in all versions except the D Cab 2 m, and new comfort and security features. The range is made up of four models: the D, with a cab 2.1 metres wide for 10 to 18 tonnes, the D Wide, with a cab 2.3 metres wide for 16 to 26 tonnes, the D Access, a low-entry cab for 18 to 26 tonnes supplied by Dennis Eagle, and the D Cab 2 m, from 3.5 to 7.5 tonnes, a badge-engineered Nissan NT500 assembled in Spain. There are two Euro 6 engines, the DTI 5, a 5.1 litre in-line four of 210 or 240 hp, and the DTI 8, a 7.7 litre in-line six of 250, 280 or 320 hp. The D Wide is also available as an all-electric variant with 260 kW continuous power and a 200 kWh battery, and an electric E-Tech D was launched in 2022.
