The Renault PR was a light commercial vehicle chassis produced by Renault from the 1920s. It has a four-cylinder engine of 75 by 120 mm rated at 10 CV and a payload of 2 tonnes. Production began in February 1926 and reached full rate from the end of that year, and 3,759 Renault PR were built until 1936, when the ADK replaced the model. Most were made as light vans, though some were bodied as light buses and coaches with 17 seats, and the Air Force ordered a few as ambulances. The type PR C was also bought by the French Army from 1934, 582 in all, classed as a 1.5 tonne van and still in service at the start of the Second World War. The versions by year were the PR (1926 to 1929), PR1, PR2, PR3, PR4, PR5, PR B (1931 to 1934), PR C (1934 to 1936) and PR E (1935 to 1936).
