The Renault MV was a heavy goods vehicle with a payload of 3.5 tonnes, made by Renault from 1924 to 1928: as the MV in 1924, as the MV1 in 1925 and 1926 and as the MV2 in 1927 and 1928, with a producer-gas variant, the MVG, made in 1927 though gas-generator examples were tested from 1925. The French armed forces bought it as an ambulance truck. The chassis was also used for buses and coaches, and for the two OTM 1 trolleybuses built by Vetra in 1927, and as a truck it was offered as a flatbed and a crane truck. The MV1 has a monobloc four-cylinder engine of 100 by 160 mm with a brake power of 48 bhp at 1,600 rpm, four forward speeds and one reverse, a wheelbase of 4.34 m and brakes on all four wheels, and the chassis weighs 3 tonnes.
