The Renault LD was a lorry built by Renault in 1923 and 1924 and sold in two versions, the LD and the LD1, with a payload of 3.5 tonnes. The French Wikipedia article records one buyer by name: in 1924 the Ministry of War bought four examples, all of them LD1. Three went to the central technical equipment establishment of the army medical service, and the fourth was a gazogene version, a truck run on gas produced from solid fuel.
