The Renault ADH was a commercial vehicle made by Renault in the late 1930s, used as a civil lorry and as a military vehicle in the Second World War. It had a payload of 2.5 tonnes and came with a four-cylinder inline petrol engine of 65 horsepower at 2,200 rpm or a four-cylinder diesel of 45 horsepower, with a four-speed manual gearbox. The lorry was offered in a short version with a 3,435 millimetre wheelbase and a long version of 4,180 millimetres. The petrol ADH1 was built from 1935 to 1940, with diesel, town-gas and wood-gas variants made between 1936 and 1941. A cross-country ADH1 with reinforced suspension and a five-speed gearbox served the French Army as a radio van, and 532 were delivered before the Battle of France ended.
