The Renault ACx and ADx was a range of light and medium trucks produced by the French manufacturer Renault between 1935 and 1940, from which some buses derived. For 1936 the commercial vehicles adopted the styling of Renault's passenger cars, with a curved cabin, a V-shaped angled grille extending below the bonnet and horizontal slits on the sides of the engine compartment. The ADV was a light truck of 0.5 tonnes payload produced from 1936 to 1938 with a 1.46-litre inline-four petrol engine also used by the Celtaquatre, sold at 17,000 francs against 18,000 francs for the equivalent Citroën. The ADZ, ACZ and ADK shared a 2.38-litre inline-four petrol engine of 48 metric horsepower, the ADH and ADR offered a 4-litre petrol or a 4.3-litre diesel, and the ADJ and ADN were buses and coaches carrying up to 23 and 14 passengers.
