The Mercedes-Benz MB100 was a light commercial cab-over van made by Mercedes-Benz Spain at its factory in Vitoria-Gasteiz in northern Spain from 1981 to 1996. Its model names reflected payload in tens of kilograms, so the numbers ran from MB90 to MB180. The first generation arrived in 1980 as a development of the DKW F1000 L and the Mercedes-Benz N1300, and a squarer second generation, shown in Mallorca in January 1987, was sold in Germany and northern Europe until the Vito replaced it in 1996. Most used the 2.4-litre OM616 diesel four-cylinder with about 72 PS, and a third generation was later built under licence in South Korea by SsangYong.
