The Isuzu Hipack Van was a walk-through delivery van that Isuzu built in Japan. It was the first Isuzu walk-through van since the Elf High Roof, and Isuzu developed it with the freight company Zen Nippon Ryutsu (Footwork) from 1981 as a rival to the Toyota Quick Delivery that Toyota had worked out with Yamato Transport. The front grille came from the first Bighorn, and the bonnet-type van went on sale in January 1983. A cab-over type followed in July 1984 on the cab chassis of the new fourth-generation Elf, carrying the body of the bonnet type, and a deluxe version arrived that September. Bonnet-type production ended in 1990, and the cab-over type ended in July 1993 when the Elf was redesigned.
