The Isuzu Geminett was a small bonnet van that Isuzu sold in Japan from June 1986. Suzuki built it and Isuzu sold it, so it was in effect the Suzuki Cultus Van with an Isuzu badge. It differed from the Suzuki only in a grille painted in the body colour, the Isuzu mark and a brake booster fitted as standard. Its type code was AA43Z, and it was powered by a 1,000 cc G10 engine with a four-speed manual gearbox only. It brought a small van back into the Isuzu range after three years and two months without one, since the Florian Van had ended in April 1983, and it stayed on sale until its successor, the Geminett II, appeared in September 1988.
