Fiat Scudo

The Fiat Scudo is a light commercial van that the Italian maker Fiat has sold since February 1996, built with the PSA group at the Sevel Nord plant at Valenciennes in France. The first generation, from 1996 to 2007, shared its platform with the Citroen Jumpy and Peugeot Expert and came as a panel van, a longer wheelbase van, a six or nine seat passenger minibus called the Scudo Combinato and a bare cab chassis called the Scudo Lastrato; it was restyled in 1998 and again in 2004. The second generation was presented in 2007 with a payload of about 1,000 to 1,200 kilograms and a load volume of five to seven cubic metres, and it earned three stars in the 2012 Euro NCAP test. From 2016 to 2020 the Fiat Talento, a Renault Trafic derivative, took its place under an agreement between FCA and Renault. The third generation, on the PSA EMP2 platform after the formation of Stellantis, arrived in 2021 with Multijet diesel engines and an electric version.
