Fiat 621

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Fiat 621 was a medium-weight Italian lorry presented in 1929 and one of the first trucks made by Fiat Veicoli Industriali. It had a Fiat six-cylinder petrol engine of 2,516 cubic centimetres with side valves and became the first Fiat truck sold with a closed cab. It was built in Italy until 1939 and, in nearly 50,000 examples in several forms, also in Poland and in Russia, where a new factory near Moscow was raised for it. Variants included the three-axle 621P, a diesel 621N, an electric 621E, a producer-gas version and a half-tracked one. It was also the first Fiat truck regularly imported into France, and its successor was the Fiat 626.
