The Dodge T, V and W series were a completely redesigned line of trucks that Dodge presented in 1939, formally the T series for 1939, the V series for 1940 and the W series from 1941 through 1947, and mostly known as the Dodge Job-Rated trucks. They had streamlined Art Deco front sheet metal and introduced Job-Rated configurations, with Dodge trying to give customers the truck that fit any job they bought it for, comparing it to buying shoes. As a result the 1939 to 1947 range was offered in a bewilderingly large number of variants and model codes.
