Renault Trucks C

The Renault Trucks C is a range of medium duty and high duty trucks for construction, manufactured by the French truckmaker Renault Trucks and introduced in 2013. It incorporates a temporary hydrostatic traction system in its front axle, called Optitrack, which drives the front wheels when grip is needed, and it adds new comfort and security features compared with the models it follows. The C offers three Euro 6 diesel-class engines of different sizes: the 8 litre DTI 8, with power outputs of 250, 280 and 320 hp, the 11 litre DTI 11, with 380, 430 and 460 hp, and the 13 litre DTI 13, with 440, 480 and 520 hp. It sits in the same 2013 generation of Renault Trucks ranges as the T for long distance, the K for heavy construction and the D for distribution.
