Mercedes-Benz Arocs

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs is a heavy-duty truck introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 2013 and aimed at the construction sector. Available bodies include dump trucks, concrete mixers and tractors, with two, three or four axles and weights from 18 to 41 tonnes. It has two main variants, the Loader and the Grounder, the latter a heavy-duty version with thicker 9 millimetre frame rails. All engines are Euro VI compliant, among them the OM473, a new 15.6 litre engine of 386 to 466 kW with 3,000 N m of torque, alongside the OM471, OM470 and OM936. Lego released the Arocs as a Lego Technic set in 2015, with 2,793 parts and working outriggers, dump bed and pneumatic crane, the flagship Technic set of that year.
