The Albion Clydesdale was both a lorry and a bus chassis name used by Albion Motors. As a truck it was one of the three Albion lorries, with the Chieftain and Reiver, whose production continued after Leyland Motors bought the company in 1951 and through the formation of British Leyland in 1968. A bus on the truck chassis, sold as an export model, is listed from 1959 to 1979. Complete Albion vehicles ended in 1972, when British Leyland removed the Albion name, and vehicle production at the former Albion factory in Scotstoun ceased in 1980.
