Albion A14

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Albion A14 was a commercial vehicle model from Albion Motors of Scotstoun, Glasgow, listed among its lorry models for the years 1911 to 1914. Albion had decided in 1909 to concentrate on commercial vehicles, and the A14 stands beside the A10 of 1910 to 1926, the model that became the best known of the early range. A surviving vehicle is the 1914 Albion Model A14 built for the Ringwood Brewery, shown in the Grace's Guide photographs and preserved as an exhibit at the National Motor Museum. The book Albion of Scotstoun, published by the Albion Vehicle Preservation Trust, covers the A14 among the models of its first chapter, which runs from the founding of the company in 1899 to 1919.
