The Albion A10 was a British lorry built by Albion Motors, introduced in 1910 and in production until 1926. It was a cab-behind-engine, rear-wheel-drive truck with a civilian payload of 3 long tons, raised to 4 from 1913 when the wheelbase was lengthened and the chassis, suspension and rear axle strengthened. Its four-cylinder inline petrol monobloc engine of 5,210 cc developed 32.4 bhp and drove double chain-driven rear wheels through a four-speed constant-mesh transmission. On the outbreak of the First World War Albion turned production over to the British War Office, and the A10 saw widespread service with the British military and Empire forces as a cargo vehicle, troop transport, petrol tanker and mobile clinic.
