Named transport routes and the scheduled passenger or freight services that run on them -- specific rail lines, air routes, shipping lanes, bus and transit lines, and historic overland trade routes -- as distinct from the physical infrastructure those routes run over and the companies or agencies that operate them. Belongs here: named routes such as the Trans-Siberian Railway, the historic Silk Road, U.S. Route 66, a transatlantic shipping lane, a named airline route or flight service, or a named transit line such as the London Underground's Central line.
