2012 Honda CBR1000RR

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The twelfth-generation Fireblade marked its 20th anniversary and was revised for 2012, with Showa's Big Piston suspension technology, a balance free shock from Showa, further improved software for the combined ABS, new wheels with 12 spokes, aerodynamic tweaks and a display entirely in LCD. The Fireblade of 2012 won another Cycle World shootout, and a best street and track comparison by Motorcycle USA. This page belongs to the Honda CBR1000RR (SC59 II), 2012 to 2016 model years; the generation page and the Honda CBR1000RR model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
