Honda completely redesigned the Gold Wing in 2018 for its sixth generation, with a new four valve engine, in two versions: the standard Gold Wing, which took over from the F6B bagger, and the Gold Wing Tour, which has a top trunk. It weighs 41 kg less than before, with a robotically welded frame and a double wishbone front suspension that resembles BMW's Duolever, and throttle by wire, four ride modes, traction control, LED lighting and Apple CarPlay are new. Options include an automatic dual clutch transmission with a forward and reverse walking mode.
