The reintroduced Valkyrie NRX1800 came as a 2014 model, shown at the Tokyo Motor Show as a naked version of the GL1800 with the same six cylinder engine of 1832 cc as the Gold Wing but 70 kg lighter. It had increased rake and trail, revised front and rear suspension, 50/50 weight distribution and large tires after the fashion of sport-bikes, and an all digital multi-instrument dash screen. Sales were expected to begin in early 2014 at about 17,000 dollars for the base model.
