1985 Honda Rebel

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda Rebel was introduced in 1985. The September 1985 issue of Motorcyclist magazine, published when the Rebel first came out, said that Honda hoped to attract newcomers and expand the motorcycle market by aiming the bike at a young audience, such as people who watch MTV, and that Honda did not market the motorcycle as one for women. The CMX250 Rebel belongs to the CM series of cruisers. This page belongs to the Honda Rebel (CMX250), 1985 to 2016 model years; the generation page and the Honda Rebel model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
