The XR400M was introduced in 2005. It had an engine like the XR 400R's but with a smaller exhaust diameter and slightly less power, and was sold as a factory motard with electric start, road wheels and tyres, and updated fairings that imitate radiators. This page belongs to the Honda XR Series (2000 onward), 2000 model year onward; the generation page and the Honda XR Series model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
