1960 Honda Super Cub

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The C102, the first Super Cub variation, arrived in April 1960 with electric start as well as a kick starter, and with battery and coil ignition in place of a magneto. The new Suzuka factory was completed in 1960 and was then the largest motorcycle factory in the world. The C110 Sports Cub arrived in October 1960 as a sport motorcycle that is ridden astride, not a step through, and the CZ100 of 1960 put the same engine into a much smaller frame, becoming the first of the Honda Z series and popular as a monkey bike.
