Honda showed the Capa as the concept car J-MW at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show, and it went on sale on April 24, 1998, with the series code GA4. At first Honda offered it only with its Multimatic continuously variable transmission, through the Honda Primo and Honda Verno dealerships in Japan. This page belongs to the Honda Capa (single generation), 1998 to 2002 model years; the generation page and the Honda Capa model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
