Wolseley 4/50

Automobiles

The 4/50 was one of the first two postwar Wolseleys, put into production in 1948 and based on the Morris Oxford MO, with the 6/80 as its six cylinder sibling based on the Morris Six. It used a 1476 cubic centimeter 50 horsepower four cylinder version of the 6/80 engine, with a round Morris rear end and an upright Wolseley grille, and was built at the Morris Cowley factory. It was replaced by the 4/44 in 1953. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the 4/50 (1948 to 1953).
