The 4/44 was a Wolseley saloon introduced by BMC in 1952 and manufactured from 1953 to 1956. It was designed under the Nuffield Organization, but Wolseley was part of BMC by the time it came out, and much of the design was shared with the MG Magnette ZA. It had a detuned 1250 cubic centimeter XPAW engine with one carburettor, a monocoque body and an upmarket interior with a wooden dashboard and leather seats. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the 4/44 (1952 to 1956).
