Rover P3 (Sixty and Seventy-Five)

Automobiles

The P3 was the first postwar Rover, the Sixty and the Seventy-Five, announced in February 1948 with a new engine with overhead inlet and side exhaust valves that was made in a four cylinder 1595 cubic centimeter version and a six cylinder 2103 cubic centimeter version. It had independent front suspension, a first for Rover, and was built only until mid 1949 and in small numbers, replaced by the P4 Rover 75. The Land Rover took the engine of the Sixty. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the Sixty and Seventy-Five (1948 to 1949).
