The 4/Seventy Two was the Riley 4/Sixty Eight renamed in October 1961, just before the Motor Show, and closely related again to the 16/60 update of the Wolseley. Its engine grew to 1.6 liters and 68 horsepower with the twin carburettors, and it gained anti roll bars and a wheelbase one inch longer. Its main competitor from 1963 was the Humber Sceptre, and the Riley line ended in 1969. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the 4/Seventy Two (1961 to 1969).
