The Morris Oxford is the long running line of cars that Morris made in Britain, from the bullnose Oxford of 1913 to the Farina Series V and VI. From 1913 to mid 1935 Oxford cars grew in size and quantity, and in 1925 Morris sold nearly double the number of the year before, accounting for 41 percent of British production. The name was recycled in 1948 and lasted almost another 23 years through to 1971, in a market sector and engine size that remained nearly constant between 1476 cc and 1622 cc. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 6 generations: the bullnose (1913 to 1926); the flatnose and six (1926 to 1935); the Series MO (1948 to 1954); the Series II to IV (1954 to 1959); the Series V (1959 to 1961); the Series VI (1961 to 1971).
