Austin Ten

Automobiles

The Austin Ten is the small car that Austin launched on 19 April 1932, the company's best selling car of the 1930s, which continued in production with upgrades until 1947. It fitted between the baby Austin Seven, introduced in 1922, and the various Austin Twelves, updated in January 1931. Body styles included the Sherborne, the Cambridge saloon and the Conway cabriolet, and a virtually new semi unitary car was launched in May 1939. It was replaced by the A40 in October 1947. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1932 to 1947).
