The second generation Domani continued through 1998, with ABS as an option on the variants other than the X. A Canadian market version, called the Acura 1.6 EL, was built next to the Civic in Alliston, Ontario, and then shipped back to Japan and Taiwan, where it was sold as the Honda Domani.
