1997 Honda Torneo

Automobiles

The Torneo arrived in 1997 as the successor to the Ascot and Rafaga, continuing the approach Honda took in 1982 with the Vigor, giving each of its three Japanese dealership channels a unique variant of the Accord. The SiR-T model, brought out in 1997, came only with a five speed manual and the 200 PS 2.0 litre F20B engine, while the Torneo SiR used the same base but added the S-Matic automatic with sequential manual shift mode and 180 PS.
