1992 Honda Ascot

Automobiles

The Ascot Innova was launched on March 5, 1992, also based on the CB Accord underpinnings but with an all-new, modern-looking and rounded body, with styling similar to the Honda Prelude BB4 series. The car came out of a project run jointly with the Rover Group, which received the 600 series from it, and it was a pillared hardtop with frameless side glass that Honda sold alongside the Ascot, not in its place. The Ascot Innova was available with the 2.0-litre F20A engine or the 2.3-litre H23A engine, and its slogan was Hard Top Innovation.
