Rolls-Royce Phantom IV

Automobiles

The Phantom IV is the rarest Rolls-Royce, of which only eighteen were made between 1950 and 1956, sold only to buyers Rolls-Royce considered worthy of the distinction: the British royal family and heads of state. It is the only Rolls-Royce fitted with a straight eight engine. The first chassis was built for Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip at the experimental department at Belper, and the other seventeen at the Crewe factory. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1950 to 1956).
