In early 2005 a hybrid model of the North American Honda Accord was introduced, alongside the coupe and sedan forms that made up the seventh generation in that market. The hybrid joined the conventional four cylinder and V6 cars of the 2005 model year, and the same 4 cylinder engine used a timing chain rather than a belt. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 2005 model year, so this page claims none.
