In December 2001 the Honda NSX received a facelift to keep the car looking modern against its competitors, which formed the 2002 model year update. Fixed xenon HID headlamps took the place of the original pop up headlamps, the rear tyres became slightly wider to suit a revised suspension, and the gauge faces turned a blue shade. The facelift was introduced at the very end of the 2001 calendar year, and the sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 2001 model year.
