1990 Honda NSX

Automobiles

The 1990 Honda NSX was the first model year. The car had its first public showings in 1989, with the Chicago Auto Show in February and the Tokyo Motor Show in October, and Honda changed the name from NS-X to NSX before production. It reached Japanese showrooms in 1990 through the Honda Verno dealers, replacing the Prelude as flagship, and from November 1990 it was sold in North America and Hong Kong under Honda's luxury brand, Acura. Its redline was at 8,300 rpm, with the world's first production car engine with titanium connecting rods.
