Exports of the Honda Z largely stopped after 1972, when domestic market models received new bodywork without pillars. Cars after the facelift of November 1972 dropped the additional lid under the number plate, put the license plate in the space it freed, and had the new 356 cc EA engine. US sales of the Z600 and the N600 stopped in 1972, ahead of the introduction of the Civic. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
