In 2023 the Honda ZR-V reached many markets: Hong Kong on 27 April 2023, Australia on 22 May 2023, New Zealand in May 2023, the United Kingdom on 4 July 2023 with the 2.0 liter e:HEV hybrid only, the Middle East on sale 2 June 2023 after being unveiled on 28 March 2023, Argentina on 28 September and Brazil on 30 October 2023. Dongfeng Honda launched a version in China in February 2023 as the HR-V, and in the United States the IIHS gave the 2023 HR-V its Top Safety Pick Plus award.
