Honda gave the Pilot a refresh, inside and out, during June 2018, and it carried the 2019 model year label. The powertrain stayed the same, though the nine speed transmission and the start stop system were revised, and the outside gained new bumpers, grille and wheels, standard LED headlights, reworked tail lights, and an optional hands free tailgate. Inside came a new gauge cluster and a HondaLink infotainment system including the CabinControl app, a 4G LTE hotspot and CabinTalk, and Honda Sensing was now standard in every trim.
