The second generation Freed was facelifted and released on 18 October 2019, after Honda announced it on 30 August 2019. The frontal section was revised with an angular edged body coloured grille similar to the new Fit along with redesigned foglamps, and in its interior it uses a lighter trimming on the dashboard panel. A new variant inspired by crossover SUVs, the Freed Crosstar, joined the range with this facelift.
