Honda Prospect Motor started production of the second generation Mobilio at its Karawang plant on 15 January 2014, with Indonesian sales from 25 January 2014 and trim levels S, E, E Prestige and RS from June 2014. The RS sportier variant was released on 19 June 2014. India received the Mobilio in July 2014 with more than 90 percent local parts, Thailand in September 2014 and South Africa in October 2014. Honda sold 110,457 cars by the end of August 2014, and 59,377 of them were Mobilios on its debut.
