The CPTM Series 2500 is a class of electric multiple units built by CRRC Qingdao Sifang between 2017 and 2019 for Line 13-Jade of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos in Sao Paulo, the line that links Guarulhos Airport to the rest of the metropolitan network. A consortium of CRRC Qingdao Sifang and the Brazil-based Spanish company Temoinsa won the public bidding for eight trains with a bid of about 316.7 million reais, ahead of Hyundai Rotem and CAF. They were the first trains of the company built in China. The trains carry luggage racks and individual door buttons. The first train was delivered in September 2019 and the last in March 2021, after delays to the start of operation.
