China Railway CRH6

Passenger Rolling Stock and High-Speed Trainsets

The CRH6 is a regional and commuter higher-speed train family of China's CRH network. It was designed by CRRC Qingdao Sifang and is built by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen at its Jiangmen factory in Guangdong. Unlike most CRH types, most CRH6 trains carry individual names, and only a few use the Hexie, or Harmony, name. The CRH6A is the faster version, designed for 250 km/h and run at 220 km/h on regional express services with 2+2 reversible seats. The CRH6F is designed for 180 km/h and run at 160 km/h on express commuter services. A metropolitan variant based on the Cinova platform is no longer counted as part of the class.
