New Brunswick East Coast Railway

Railway and Rail Transit Operators

The New Brunswick East Coast Railway, established on January 19, 1998 and beginning operations in December 1997, was a railway operating in the Canadian province of New Brunswick as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Société des chemins de fer du Quebec. It included 311 miles of track, of which 196 miles formed the mainline between Campbellton and Pacific Junction near Moncton, along with spurs connecting Dalhousie Junction and Dalhousie, Nepisiguit Junction and Brunswick Mines, and Nelson and Chatham.
