All National and State Railways

Railway systems owned or run by a state, among them the national railways of Germany, Japan, Pakistan, Russia, China and Morocco. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the company a national, state-owned or state railway. It excludes private and regional railways. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
