London River Services Limited is a division of Transport for London that manages passenger transport, leisure-oriented tourist services and commuter services along the River Thames in and around London. It does not own or operate any boats itself, except those on the Woolwich Ferry, but it licenses the services of operators. The decision to revive London's river service network moved forward in 1997, after river use had died off in the early 1900s as bridges and tunnels proliferated. It is recorded here as the operator named on the Woolwich Ferry infobox.
